Collab Lab 29: Building skilled trades talent
Thursday October 10, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
What experiences arm students with the talents and dispositions that allow them to step successfully into the skilled trades?
Milwaukee area firms are desperate for talent in the skilled trades. Not simply talent that has a given set of technical skills, but talent that can work as part of a team, with integrity, to get a job done. Join us for a discussion focused on the opportunities students need to build these talents and dispositions, and what we can do to create and act on those opportunities. You’ll have a chance to connect with colleagues from public, private and charter schools working on this issue, industry and community partners ready to help, as well as students working to develop these talents.
