STEM Education in a Time of Distance Learning

At STEM Forward's sySTEMnow conference on Thursday October 29th we'll facilitate a discussion on how to effectively engage students in STEM education under distance learning.  At the conference, we'll run separate breakout groups for elementary, middle, and high school.  This follow up session will give us a chance to recap what we heard on Thursday, and explore where collaborative efforts might address some of the issues raised.

Resources for hands on STEM activities can get expensive.  At the same time, they may only be used for part of a semester.  What would it look like if you could borrow the resources you need from a STEM Lending Library?  You may already have acquired resources that often sit idle.  What would make it worthwhile to loan those to colleagues?  In this session our discussion will focus on what this might look like for resources to support robotics in K-12.  Come share your thoughts and ideas.
